Reference: Assault arrest

On Thursday, April 12th, 2007, the following individual turned himself in to the Portsmouth Police Department as a result of an arrest warrant:

Drew M. Wade
Date of birth 04/15/88
550 Long John Road
Rye, N.H.

Drew Wade was arrested for two counts of:

Simple Assault (class A Misdemeanors).

This arrest is the result of the April 10th investigation by patrol officers and detectives into a report of a fight involving a baseball bat that occurred on Lincoln Avenue in Portsmouth. After conducting multiple interviews and processing the scene, it was determined that although Mr. Wade did not use the baseball bat to assault the victim, he was in fact the primary aggressor.

Mr. Wade was processed at the Portsmouth Police Department and released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Portsmouth District Court on May 14th, 2007 at 8:30 AM.
