Reference: CHANGE IN DATE, TIME AND LOCATION OF MONTHLY POLICE COMMISSION MEETINGS
Date of Release: 7 March, 2006
Beginning with the March meeting the police commission has moved their monthly meeting to the second Thursday evening of the month. The meetings will be held in the city council chambers, and will begin at 7 p.m. The meetings will now be televised on the local cable access channel as well.
The March meeting will be held on Thursday, March 9th, at 7 p.m. in city council chambers. Portsmouth residents are welcome to come to the meeting or view it from home. The police department encourages residents to tune in or come in. Anyone attending will gain a good understanding of how the police department is being run and how their public safety dollars are being spent.
