The Portsmouth Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the following individual:
Jeremy L. Semprebon
Date of birth 10/22/68
541 Washington Road
An arrest warrant has been issued for Mr. Semprebon for:
5 counts of: Prohibition from Child Care Services of Persons Convicted of Certain Offenses (all Felonies).
On today’s date, members of the Portsmouth Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit and Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, assisted by the Rye Police Department, executed a search warrant at Mr. Semprebon’s residence in Rye.
Evidence from the residence was seized as part of this investigation.
Mr. Semprebon is a registered sex offender on the State of New Hampshire public view list, having been convicted in 1995 in Strafford County for Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault on a five year old child. The arrest warrant for Mr. Semprebon alleges that during this past year, he worked for a non profit agency in a capacity where he was in direct contact with minors at several seacoast agencies. Further criminal charges could be forthcoming as this investigation continues.
