Reference: Felony assault arrest

At 12:35 AM on Wednesday, June 26th, the Portsmouth Police Department responded to the Red Door lounge located at 107 State Street for a fight. One of the patrons had sustained facial lacerations when struck on the face by a cocktail glass. The patron was transported by ambulance to the Portsmouth Hospital where they were treated and released.

At the scene uniformed patrol officers took the suspect, subsequently identified as Tamara Wynn, into custody. Tamara Wynn is charged with Second Degree Assault, a class B felony. She was released on $3,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in the Portsmouth District Court on 7-21-08.
