BLOG DAY
Saturday October 20
10 AM – 3 PM

Start the new season with a rewarding challenge. Learn how to build a blog or small website with Wordpress in one day! It’s easier than you think. Join us for Blog Day, Saturday October 20 from 10 AM – 3 PM.

At the library, we work to give patrons the tools and information they need to connect with their community. Building a blog or website is a great way to let your community know about your skills and interests.

This fun workshop will be co-taught by experienced computer class teachers, Marina Buckler (Reference Librarian) and Jennifer Moore (Inter Library Loan and blogger at recovergirl.wordpress.com). As a student, you should be comfortable navigating the internet, but prior experience with blogging or websites is not needed.

This workshop is geared towards small business owners, consultants, or anyone who is seriously interested in starting a blog. Together we will walk you through the steps of registering the blog, creating posts, pages, and widgets -- and how to design it to match your style.

This workshop is FREE. Call 766-1720 to reserve your spot. Space is limited.
