The Portsmouth Public Library has two “Kill A Watt” Electricity Usage Monitors available for checkout at the Information Desk on the 2nd floor. These easy-to-use devices will help you reduce your energy costs and identify any electrical appliances in your home that you may want to unplug when not in use.
These devices were purchased to support the City of Portsmouth’s initiative to reduce the city’s carbon footprint. As part of the New England Carbon Challenge, Portsmouth has challenged Keene to a friendly competition – which city is more committed to reducing their energy usage?
