On Friday, July 4th, 2008, the Portsmouth Police Department arrested the following individual based on an arrest warrant:

Kittery, Maine

Jesse Bill was arrested for the following:

Registration of Sex Offender/Duty to Report (class B Felony).

This arrest is the result of an investigation that led to an arrest warrant from the Portsmouth Police Department alleging that Jesse Bill had not registered as a sex offender as required by law.

It is believed that Jesse Bill moved from Portsmouth to Kittery, Maine without notifying either the Portsmouth or Kittery Police Departments as required by law. Jesse Bill must register and is on the public view list due to a 2004 conviction in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for Indecent Assault and Battery of a Child under the age of 14.

Jesse Bill was processed at the Portsmouth Police Department and released on $1,200 personal recognizance bail. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Portsmouth District Court on August 11th, 2008 at 8:30 AM.
