On Thursday, June 26th, 2008, a collaborative investigation between the Portsmouth Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU), Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), Rochester Police Department Bureau of Investigative Services and Seacoast Emergency Response Team (SERT) led to the arrest of four subjects in Portsmouth:
Anthony S. Sawyer

Rollinsford, NH
Charges: Three counts of Sale of a Controlled Drug
Mr. Sawyer’s bail was set at $500,000 Cash.
Saxton Lynch
Date of Birth 05/27/1986
66 Baer Road
Rollinsford, NH
Charges: Conspiracy to Commit the Sale of a Controlled Drug
It was discovered that Mr. Lynch had arrest warrants from the Nottingham Police Department and Durham Police Departments. Those charges are as follows:
Disobeying a Police Officer
Receiving Stolen Property
Conduct After an Accident
Habitual Offender
False Report to a Police Officer
Breach of Bail
Mr. Lynch’s bail was set at $100,000 Cash.
Christine Anderson
Date of Birth 03/16/69

Portsmouth, NH
Charge: Hindering Apprehension
Ms. Anderson’s bail was set at $1000 Personal Recognizance.
Steven Anderson
Date of Birth 12/08/64
No Fixed Address
Charge: Conspiracy to Commit the Sale of a Controlled Drug
Mr. Anderson’s bail was set at $100,000 Cash.
This case and these subjects continue to be under investigation by various seacoast police agencies, and other felony charges are forthcoming.
