Museum Passes

MUSEUM PASSES

            The Library makes available passes for free or discounted admission to the following museums and other attractions:

New Hampshire

CHILDREN’S MUSEUM OF NEW HAMPSHIRE  (www.childrens-museum.org)
One pass, admitting up to four persons at $2 per person. 

SEACOAST SCIENCE CENTER (Odiorne Point State Park, Rye)  (www.seacoastsciencecenter.org)
Two family passes, providing free admission to the Science Center only.

CURRIER MUSEUM OF ART (Manchester)  (www.currier.org )
Two passes, each admitting up to two persons; children under 18 admitted free; $5 deposit required.

NEW HAMPSHIRE HISTORICAL SOCIETY & MUSEUM OF N. H. HISTORY (Concord) (www.nhhistory.org)
One pass admitting up to four adults or two adults and their children or grandchildren.

STRAWBERY BANKE MUSEUM (Portsmouth) (www.strawberybank.org)
Two passes admitting two adults and four children, plus discounted admission to special programs.

WARNER HOUSE (Portsmouth) (www.warnerhouse.org)
One family pass admitting up to 2 adults and 4 children from mid-June to mid-October.

Massachusetts

MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS (Boston) (www.mfa.org)
One  pass, admitting two adults at $5 each; admission to special exhibitions $8 more, subject to availability.

MUSEUM OF SCIENCE  (Boston) (www.mos.org)
One pass, admitting up to four persons to the Exhibit Halls at a charge of $5 per person.  Turn in pass at Non-members window.  Does not include admission to Omni Theater or Planetarium.

NEW ENGLAND AQUARIUM  (Boston) (www.neaq.org)
One pass, admitting up to four persons at a charge of $7 each.  Not available from July 1 through Labor Day.

PEABODY ESSEX MUSEUM  (Salem) (www.pem.org)
One pass per day, admitting two adults at $5 each; children 16 and under admitted free.  $5 deposit required.

Maine

CHILDREN’S MUSEUM OF MAINE  (Portland) (www.childrensmuseumofme.org)
One pass that admits up to four persons at half the regular admission price.

PORTLAND MUSEUM OF ART  (www.portlandmuseum.org)
One family pass that admits two adults and up to six children under the age of 18.

It is a good idea to reserve passes in advance, especially for weekend and vacation-week use.  You may make reservations in person or over the phone by calling the Library at 427-1540 or the Reference Department directly at 766-1720.  Laminated passes must be returned on the day of use or, after a weekend or holiday, the next day that the Library is open.
